December

Well, December has been hectic and crazy, to say the least.

With Christmas, parties, birthdays and New Years, I'm surprised we've gotten any sleep at all! (Granted New Years hasn't come yet but the Eve of it is tomorrow...) I think everybody enjoyed the wonderful family Christmas party a few weeks ago, it was a heck of a lotta fun! We sang carols on a trailer, we decked out our carport with straw and turned it into a 'country' theme in honor of our new 'country' house... we ate chili, played games, got presents, and of course... asked Santa what we wanted for Christmas. It was great to see most of my family, I just wish some others could have made it.
After that, my birthday came up, and I finally turned 14! I can't believe high school is around the corner, and yet it's scary to think about it... I thanked my parents tons after they gave me a cute dress, a gift card... and the Kindle Fire. It's so much fun, and I just can't put it down!
Christmas came and went.. and everyone had a great time. We pretty much got all that we wanted, and spent some family time on our 'Kinect' (Making people look like fools since.. whenever it came out(; ) We got 'Dance Central 2' and have been dancing for a few days. (Needless to say, my high score is, -I think- the highest in my family. 2 million) Christmas is just my favorite time of year, and I felt grateful on Christmas Eve, that we could sit down together as a family, and watch a Christmas Story. Then, the little ones went out side, and sprinkled green sprinkles to keep the Grinch away.
Yet that's all in the past, and the dawn of a new age is approaching... 2012. Yes, I know... we're all gonna die. Not However, one thing to think about... there is this program on the TV called "Nostradamus: 2012" It's all about this scientist called "Nostradamus" and his predictions about 2012. Did you know, that like... 25,000 years ago, some stars lined up or something... and that is when the Ice Age started? Well, it's happening again. In 2012, and on the very same die the Mayan calender ends. I doubt anything will happen... but never hurts to ponder! You should check it out, there were many more theories, and who knows? What if it is true?

*sigh*

I admit it. I am horrible at keeping up at these things. However, I guess I'll try now.

We moved, again, yet hopefully this one is permanent. Here, we have three cats now. Treble, Mao and Blu. Mao is a "Siamese" will a cute black spot around his nose. Blue, is a Russian Blue.  Yet surprisingly, they are from the same litter.
Everyone has moved up a grade, and next week, I shall turn 14. Which means I will be out of Beehives, and be moving into Mia Maids. That is sad, yet happy at the same time. I am excited for this because I now get to go to all the dances.(:
I am now utterly obsessed with the BBC show, "Merlin" I swear... they must have cast a spell on me. I have made a blog, specifically for that show called, "Everything Merlin" where I doubt I will get that many viewers, but you never know.
"Merlin" is set "in a land of myth, and a time of magic." Which is known as "Camelot" to most of us. And the entire story is set around Merlin, who has magical abilities, yet he has to hide them since King Uther has forbid the practice of sorcery, and is punishable by death. Merlin travels then to the great city of Camelot, and hones his skills with the aid of the court physician. So on his first day, he saves Prince Arthur's life, and his reward... is becoming his manservant. Arthur and Merlin seem to not get along, but they soon become "close" friends. The series is based on the trials of Merlin has he becomes the greatest sorcerer of all time.
So yes(:
